Review - Envy box 2015

We are here yet again with the review on the Independence special India themed Envy box!! Yes, the August envy box celebrated India in it’s own way by including products from Indigenous brands. When I opened my August Envy box, my joy knew no bounds! The box itself is coloured in a very unique shade that looks like that of an Earthen pot. The Golden graphics beautifully display motifs that represent India in various forms. It includes a beautiful demonstration of Indian culture like the tabla, bharatanatyam, Taj mahal, India gate, coconut trees.

Let us now move on to the contents of the box now…

Hedonista Oudh Frozen Itar:

Itar means perfume. This one is a perfume with a twist. This solid perfume is made out of dehnal oud and it is handmade. It has ghee like texture and an enchanting fragrance. If I were to describe it, I would call the fragrance Oriental, spicy and strong. Rub it into your pulse points like neck, back of ears & wrist to stay fragrant all day long. Store in a cool, dry place. It is enclosed in a tin tub.

Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask

Well, my skin at the moment is misbehaving a lot and these days. An acne or two keep cropping up every now and then. So, this face mask is something that I absolutely needed. Neem is an excellent anti acne, anti-bacterial agent. This comes in form of a powder. It has a blend of of organic neem, green tea and rice. Rice soaks up excess oils that clog pores while the Green tea extracts act as antioxidants. Regular use claims to decrease acne markedly. Form a paste by mixing with water, Rose water or raw milk. You can also add a drop or two of your favorite essential oil. It comes in a plastic tub.

Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal

This is a herbal kajal that has Ayurvedic ingredients that are good and cooling for eyes and eyesight. The shade I got is Olive Green. Although, I was desperately hoping to get the Blue shade, I quite like dis one too. Soultree kajals have many shades to pick from. It is enriched with ghee, natural minerals, natural essential oils, honey, vitamin E, camphor, sweet almonds, castor oil, cocoa butter. It gives a cool sensation to eyes and makes them feel relaxed. It is very user friendly with its twist up format.
