One of our favourite things about this time of the year are weddings. Add celebrities to it, and we’re happy campers. We’re specially enamoured with the brides, to be honest. 1. Mira Rajput:
Her wedding with Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor was the most talked about event of 2015, going all the way to having its own trending hashtag #ShahidkiShaadi on Twitter. The second of three daughters, Mira met Shahid through the Radha Satsang Beas, a religious group that both the Kapoors and the Rajputs are members of. The two tied the knot in a low-key gurudwara on the outskirts of Delhi on July 7th. The ceremony was followed by a wedding reception at The Oberoi, Gurgaon and another function in Mumbai upon their return. Mira’s wedding outfits were the talk of the city for weeks after the ceremonies.

2. Geeta Basra:
Despite flying rumours, the gorgeous actress had kept her relationship with famed spinner Harbhajan Singh under wraps. It was only in September 2015 that the two finally broke their silence and announced their marriage date. On October 29th, 2015, they finally tied the knot at a 5-star resort in Jalandhar, Singh’s hometown. Basra looked absolutely stunning in a traditional red and gold Archana Kochhar lehengas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also graced their Delhi reception to bless the so-in-love couple.

3. Naina Bachchan:
Despite hailing from the prestigious Bachchan family, Naina Bachchan has managed to keep herself and her relationship to Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor a secret, and her wedding was no different. The two lovebirds got married in a private ceremony on the Seychelles islands on February 9th, 2015. The happy couple continued their celebrations with a reception in a private Delhi reception, which was attended by a host of Bollywood stars, designers and politicians. The two were happily dating for two years before they settled down.

4. Soha Ali Khan:
The beautiful nawaabi princess finally tied the knot with her long-time beau, Kunal Khemu on January 25th, 2015. One of the first celebrity weddings of the year, the two kept it a low-key affair with a wedding ceremony at their Khar residence in Mumbai in the presence of family and a registrar. Kunal popped the question in 2014 in Paris, which Soha immediately tweeted about, telling us of her ‘yes!’

5. Sofia Vergara-Joe Manganiello:
The gorgeous couple tied the knot on November 11th, 2015 at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Th festivities included a weekend of fun, including a pool party, a rehearsal dinner and a pre-wedding bash where Manganiello serenaded his to-be wife with ‘Sweet Child O’Mine’. Vergara wore a custom Zuhair Murad Couture design for her wedding dress, and looked fabulous in it.
